-It improves balance. Through learning how to control the breath and focusing on the task at hand the kids will find more balance and how to steady themselves.

-Actively learning how to relax. At the end of each class we go into a short, but important relaxation which helps them understand how to start calming themselves down. This can encourage healthier sleep patterns!

-Yoga and the stories encourage mindfulness by using the breath to steady emotions, reducing stress and anxiety and being aware of feelings.
